The vision and mission is to liberate the world’s ocean data to drive a positive change in the ocean world. We delivered MVP of the digital solution, the ocean data platform.
How to give scientists, business and politicians the knowledge they need to take care of the ocean?
BACKGROUND
Although, there are millions of the ocean datasets gets collected, but it has been living is silos and there is no place where this data is collected. Ocean data platform is where business, researchers and politicians can quickly and easily get an overview and insight into the state of the ocean.
SOLUTION
By accessing all this data in one place, users will have access to information about the current state, trends, key figures and forecasts to make good decisions. A data platform retrieves ocean data from silos and collects them in one place, data ranging from fish ecosystem to sea states.
In this way, the Ocean Data Platform is an important tool for managing the ocean in a more sustainable way in the future.
I led the project through the UX lifecycle of discovery, problem exploration, design exploration, user testing, iteration, and post launch monitoring. I was directly responsible for creating the product foundation and impactful key features, Base map experience to navigate ocean, data visualisations, data layers, to make ocean data easily accessible to everyone to name a few.

My Role
Since the initial stage, I worked closely with the client to shape and define value proposition, launching pilot and I assisted platform development journey. I was responsible for creating future vision to engage the leadership, stakeholders and the data providers.
I introduced user centric approach at various stages of product development and heavily advocated user needs aligning with business cases. I worked with the product team towards creating and launching Platform’s first MVP.
